Patch It Back Workshop

Patch it back.jpeg

We promise you'll love this so much you'll go LOOKING for rips!

Learn how to create patches from scratch, mend a hole so it’s loud and proud or in a more subtle way.

Discover your own style and keep your closet living longer with some simple fun skills.

Skills you will learn: In this workshop, you will learn how to create 2 different types of patches from scratch. Follow Common Threads Instagram to see examples!

Skills expected: None, just an open mind.

What you bring: We ask you to come with something to work on, anything you wanna put a patch on: jeans, jackets, shirts, bags, you name it. Check out photos on the Common Threads Instagram page of examples of past patch projects and possible ideas of what we can accomplish together!

What we provide: All the supplies you need to help you repair your beloved garment: scissors, needles, threads, and all the things to make your own patches ― fabric, interfacing and more!

This is not:

• A time to get your stuff repaired by someone else.

• A sewing 101 course or an atelier finishing class.

This IS:

• A time to learn a new skill to keep that old jacket living.

• A place to get your hands working and creative thinking turned on.

Minimum and max number of people for class: Min 10 / Max 15

Please message us or email at CommonThreadsAms@gmail.com if you have any questions! Hope to see you soon.
